Neurodevelopmental Assessment
If you’re looking for an assessment that unpacks what your child is struggling with and why, and you want to understand more about how you can support them, a full neurodevelopmental assessment will look in detail at your child’s wider learning profile. It includes cognitive profiling which gives a picture of all of a child’s learning strengths and challenges and this can provide key information to develop support strategies and intervention for a young person.
Our neurodevelopmental assessments as standard will consider Autism Spectrum Condition (also known as Autism Spectrum Disorder), ADD and ADHD, emotional and psychological health/ wellbeing and learning/ cognitive strengths.
A neurodevelopmental assessment will take you through the full process and help you identify what your young person needs to thrive and reach their full potential.
When should I consider a full Neurodevelopmental Assessment?
Where a young person’s profile seems more complex and it is difficult to disentangle what is going on
Where there are other challenges in addition to social communication
Where the young person is struggling with other aspects of education in addition to social communication and interaction – for instance queries around processing speed, working memory, auditory processing, difficulties with the use and or/ understanding of spoken language
